Weekly Reflection Scriptures: Isaiah 35: 1-10, Psalms 146, and John 15:11

This week serves as a reminder of the joy the world experienced at the birth of Jesus and the joy that the faithful have reached the midpoint of Advent. Traditionally, a pink candle - called the “Shepard’s Candle” - is lit; its rose color is the liturgical color of joy.

May the Joy of the Lord be upon you! And as we prepare to celebrate the anniversary of his birth, during this season, remember the source of your joy is in Jesus. Find Joy in every situation this week because the source of your joy rests within you.
