5th Sunday Women in Service Celebration
& wear pink to church on

Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m. and
Sunday Worship begins at 10:30 a.m.
Join us as we celebrate women in service. In this sacred space, we will celebrate with our survivors, lament for those we've lost, and honor our commitment to walk alongside those that are on the journey.
Here are the activities planned for the 5th Sunday Women in Service Celebration:

Breast Cancer Resource Table
There will be a breast cancer resource table available with invaluable information that can save lives.
​
Soulful Survivors
Soulful Survivors' mission is to educate and support African American women who have breast cancer or have survived breast cancer. We will recognize this organization as well as those who are breast cancer survivors
​
Guest Soloist
We are excited to have the anointed songstress Velina Davenport from Oklahoma City. She will provide special music during the service.

Guest Speaker
Rev. Dr. Chelsea Brooke Yarborough will be the guest speaker for the day. Dr. Yarborough is the Assistant Professor of African American Preaching, Sacred Rhetoric, and Black Practical Theology at Phillips Theological Seminary.

Guest Speaker
Our Guest Speaker this Sunday will be Rev. Dr. Chelsea Brook Yarborough was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She is currently the Assistant Professor of African American Preaching, Sacred Rhetoric and Black Practical Theology at Phillips Theological Seminary. Dr. Yarborough is also an ordained minister, a published poet, a consultant and an enneagram coach. Her research explores preaching through the expansive preaching practices of Black women. Her motto is "live to love and love to live each day” and she is excited to continue her journey of cultivating curiosity in all that she pursues.
